Prochec Surveys :: Company History

Prochec Surveys is owned and managed by John Wakeley. John has been employed in the service industry all his working life, After completing an apprenticeship with a major electrical company he went on to concentrate on sales and marketing, and also on site services engineering. In the recession in the early nineties John, like many others, faced redundancy and in 1991 Prochec Surveys was born.

It was In 1980 when he first became involved with Thermography, in those days the cameras were heavy and cumbersome, and were powered by a car battery, every few hours the camera had to be refilled with liquid nitrogen. Thankfully advances in technology has made life a lot easier for the operator.

We have many years experience in using infra-red technology for identifying faults in electrical installations which we carry out daily across many different industries. Our customer base includes food & drink processors, pharmaceuticals, plastics, commerce and shipping Although we are a small company our reputation for on site electrical inspections is recognised by many national companies who use our service on a regular basis.
